In China, tea party is a popular, relaxing, and free-talk gathering organized by company, whose aim is to enhance strength, unity, and communications among employees. Drinking tea is a typical activity of tea party, hence it is called tea party.
The tea party of year 2016 for R&D department managed by Head of R&D Department Mr.Tan was held on January 22th 2017. The theme of this party was to make summary of previous works with prospects.
The tea party got started in that day at 2:30pm, Mr. Tan and Chief Engineer Mr. Ano delivered their speeches separately. Firstly, Mr. Tan made an in-depth analysis of our previous works, and placed emphasis on how to modify machines. Meanwhile, he also expressed heartfelt thanks to all of the employees and their hard works too. And then, Mr. Ano reviewed our works in the view of technical points, he was sincerely grateful for our dedication and hard works. In the past one year, the employees from R&D Department of Printing Machine Division encountered various kinds of difficulties. However, they never stepped back and insisted on finding out solutions and tackling problems. Eventually, with team’s hard works, great improvement was made accordingly.
The next session was potluck. Sweets,tea, biscuits, desserts, fruit, snacks, nuts, drinks, and etc. were well served on every table. Warm atmosphere was filled with every corner. It was the fantastic and blissful moment. All of the participants indulged in eating, chatting, sharing, enjoying, relaxing. They tasted delicious food and left work pressure far behind, gossiping a lot about life, friendship, future, love, and else.
Drawing lottery was the climax of tea party, the prizes were divided into three categories: the first prize was chocolates, biscuits, sweets; the second one was red envelopes (Cash wrapped inside, it symbolizes good luck and fortune) donated by heads of each department; the last one was cleaning of premises as a penalty. During this game, all of attendants were in high spirits, full of cheers, applauses, laughs, joys. Finally, everyone received one prize no matter it was a reward or a penalty what they expected to have or not, all of them immersed themselves in the game really, having a good time together, it was most important. And later, they all volunteered to clean up the premises, what a touching moment we never can forgot!
Happy time was always transient. After tea party was ended, every participant received a big prize of New Year. We hoped that, each employee from R&D department could bring” Happiness and Harmony” to home, love was for sharing only. Looking forward to see you next year!
